Suzuki

The company name may sound like a sneeze, but the bikes they make are nothing to scoff at. Suzuki has long ago broadened their horizons to include a full range of models for every style of riding.

DR-Z400SM

It’s rare to find a combination of street-legal bike with such motocross performance, but Suzuki has managed just that with the DR-Z400SM.

Reduced vibration handlebars make the bike easier to control off-road. The long-travel inverted front fork, gives superb shock absorbing capability thanks to oil-damped, telescopic suspension. The 398cc, four-stroke will deliver plenty of zoom to produce those shocks, too.

Lightweight, super-quick, it’s capable of producing incredible torque throughout the rpm (revolutions per minute) range thanks to the single cylinder design. This stylish super motocross will satisfy anyone from the casual weekend hill climber to the hardcore racing leather crowd.

GSX-R750

For those looking for something a little more heavy-duty for street riding, the GSX-R750 is the perfect mid-sized model. With 20 years of engineering refinements, this baby has seen both race track and city driving and conquered both.

Stylish and aerodynamic, the bike sports a four-cylinder liquid-cooled 749cc engine that delivers plenty of torque throughout the rpm range. Compact for a street bike, it nonetheless rides comfortably around town thanks to its low weight and short-stroke oil-damped suspension front and rear.

The frame is ultra-light aluminum and the seat has been lowered and the foot pegs moved for a more ergonomically correct ride. The shorter fuel tank gives plenty of space for a passenger on those trips across town or out to the beach.

Boulevard C90T

Sometimes you just want a touring bike that has everything you ever wished for. The classically-styled C90T comes as close as anything you are likely to find.

Full windscreen, long seat and passenger seat with backrest and saddlebags give you what you need to get out on the highway. The 90ci (1475 cc), four-stroke V-twin engine provides plenty of power to get you down it as fast as you want to go. Telescopic, oil-damped, coil-spring wrapped suspension makes the ride comfortable when you do.

Unusual for such a large bike (the wheelbase is 1700mm (over 75 inches)), the engine is air-cooled making for a lighter ride. Suzuki can get away with this thanks to their proprietary SCEM (Suzuki Composite Electro-chemical Material) cylinder plating. The special composite provides good heat dissipation without large fins.

This touring bike is quiet and throaty, smooth and solid. You’ll have no worries about reliability on the road. Suzuki has a reputation for building sure performers for riding on the track and over the highway.

Suzuki has come a long way since they made little 75cc putt-putt bikes for teenagers to enjoy hill climbing. Check out their whole line and you’ll see for yourself that whatever your style, they have something to fit.
